Who is the customer?
Bildeleksperten is company situated in Kongsberg/Norway, running sales of car parts, tires, rims and providing car repair services. Company has two stone shops, two web shops and multiple storage facilities in the region, all serviced by approx. 30 dedicated employees.

What did we deliver?
Boost IT has delivered central ERP solution which covers all daily routines of the company from purchase of goods to sale both online and in stone shop, including management of employee’s, all communication channels, complex storage management, integrated cash points (POS) and much more.

The ERP solution plays essential part in companies long term plan to grow from B2C segment to both B2C & B2B. Transition is now considered successful after 2 years of intensive activity and the company continues the growth and getting situated at the top of its industry in the region.

Special web shop
Web shop solution has few features, which makes it partially special - the web shop is changing content, layout, prices, and services based on identity of customer. Those have also partial access to companies’ data, with possibility to extract their dedicated price lists (variable discounts solution is integrated) and access to all documentation, catalogues and clean overview of orders and its follow up. B2B customers are able to share the computer screen with end-buyer with their proper pricing (end selling price) while having possibility to switch prices to see their purchasing prices for themselves and make orders in those.

The main challenge
The challenge in case of this project was merging data from unusually large amount of data sources, in aim to serve complex car part spectrum with proper car fitment and compatibility combined with supply chain of large number of parts. Data centres in India, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic and Norway are feeding the ERP in continuous synchronisation circles combined with real-time data exchange in selected operations.

Other features

External services are connected on several levels, preferring cloud solutions where available.
The ERP is taking care of all documentation, accounting data preparation and injection into accounting software.

Logistic part of the solution manages all storage movements on shelf-to-shelf detail level, incl. transport documentation, plus support of handheld devices from easy order pick up in storage area to monthly stock taking. Arrival of goods is also managed with assistance of the system, from automated ordering solution, confirmation from suppliers, acceptance of goods on arrival and reporting of discrepancies.

Complex solution of customer checkout is in place – standard invoicing, EHF invoicing, invoicing within external financing, cumulative invoices for large customers, and standard card payments and financing options for private customers.

Who is the customer?
Arrangement support is experienced company in field of organising large scale events, conferences and other happenings which include organisation of large number of people, project management, finance management, logistics, and other connected operations.

Anniversary
We are proud to announce that 2022 is the 10th year of close cooperation between our companies. Thank you! We will be celebrating after October’s PMU2022 conference – Norwegian major conference for re-certification of medical personnel; with 2000 people on the spot.

What did we deliver?
Company was in need to implement more effective system to manage large conferences with around 1500 participants and 500 lecturers. This amount of people and all activities are usually squeezed into short period of time, which calls for very precise organisation and no space for errors and mishaps.

System was delivered as complex solution covering all steps – from planning, budgeting, registration of both speakers and participants, to management of courses, course programmes, follow up of presence of participants, their accommodation, meals, cultural and social events, invoicing, with its many exceptions and multiple level of rules, fond financing etc., salary management, distribution of course pensum, certificates, salary slips and much more.

The main challenge
Challenge here was to get all specific financial rules into the solution so most of tasks could have been managed in automated processes. For example, in invoicing solution system has to follow what is the background of the participant, which price group applies to him/her, if there is any finance supplement from various fonds, if given participant is also bringing his knowledge to the conference which calls for exemption in course fees or even salaries etc. On the other side we have speakers with necessity to specifically follow their level of service within courses with multiple combinations of applied principles of calculation of salaries, and reporting such into accounting.
